Dr. Kuldeep Kole

Dr. Kuldeep Dole completed his MBBS & MS (ophthal.) from Pune University in 1997 & 2000 respectively.
He joined H.V. Desai Eye Hospital in 2001 and at present is working in the institute as Medical Director and Head of the Community Ophthalmology Department.
Dr. Dole has extensive experience in premium cataract phaco surgery procedures and has performed more than 10000 cataract surgeries successfully.
In 2002 – 03, he completed masters in Community Eye Health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, University of London in 2002-2003.
He has worked as a Consultant Ophthalmologist in Mwanza, Tanzania in 2002 and had an . opportunity to work at Tel Aviv University, Israel in the Medical Retina Department in 2005.
Dr. Dole is the Secretary of the Ethics Committee of the organization. He is a technical advisor to Lions Clubs International Foundation’s Sight First program for western and northern India.
As a faculty, Dr. Dole teaches the post-graduate students for DNB. He has been involved in various doctor-training programs; which include SICS phacoemulsification training, teaching programs for DNB students and fellows at H.V.Desai Eye Hospital.
Dr. Dole has several presentations and publications in prestigious journals to his credit.

Dr. Ashwini Sonawane, MBBS, DOMS

Consultant Ophthalmologist in Cataract, Medical Retina, Glaucoma, ROP

She completed her long term Glaucoma Fellowship from National Institute of ophthalmology, her General Ophthalmology Fellowship and Medical Retina fellowship from H. V. Desai Eye Hospital, and joined H. V. Desai Eye Hospital as a consultant.

She worked as Glaucoma consultant at National Institute of Ophthalmology and has been a sub – investigator for several clinical trials.

Dr. Kalyani VKS, MBBS, MS, Ophthal

Consultant Ophthalmologist in Cataract, Glaucoma

She is the Principal of the Optometry College.

Dr. Kalyani is recognized as a Post Graduate Teacher for DNB and has many presentations and publications.

She has been a principal investigator for several clinical trials, and entrusted in various doctor-training programs; which includes SICS, phacoemulsification training, teaching programs for DNB students and fellows at H.V.Desai Eye Hospital .

Dr. Vidya J Chelerkar, MBBS, MS, DNB Ophthal.

Consultant Ophthalmologist in Cataract, Head of Department of Glaucoma

Dr. Vidya is recognized as a post-graduate teacher for DNB and has many presentations at various national and international meets and publications to her credit. She has been a principal investigator for several clinical trials and is interested in various doctor-training programs; which include SICS phacoemulsification training, teaching programs for DNB students and fellows at H. V. Desai Eye Hospital.

She is a member of the Glaucoma Society of India and the All India Ophthalmological Society.
