Long-Term Fellowship in Ophthalmology

This programme provides training in both comprehensive ophthalmology and ophthalmic subspecialties. The institute now offers the following long-term programmes:

Short-Term Fellowship in Ophthalmology

The eligibility criteria for each training program vary based on the specific requirements and duration. Medical doctors qualified as Ophthalmology / eye surgeons can apply.

• Phacoemulsification/SICS/Medical Retina/Glaucoma/Cornea/Oculoplasty/Pediatric Ophthalmology:
  Graduates or postgraduates in ophthalmology are eligible to apply. Prior experience or training in the respective specialization may be advantageous.
• Low Vision Aid :
  Ophthalmologists are eligible. Prior knowledge of low vision assessment and rehabilitation techniques is desirable.
• ROP Training for Ophthalmologists:
  Ophthalmologists or paediatricians with an interest in retinopathy of prematurity (ROP) management are eligible to apply.
• Retina (Intravitreal Injection):
  Ophthalmologists or retina specialists seeking to enhance their skills in intravitreal injection techniques are eligible to apply.
• Wet Lab Training:
  An Ophthalmology resident enrolled in an Eye institute for post-graduation and those who have completed Ophthalmology PG degree MS / DOMS, DNB, MD can apply.

Admission Process:

• Application: Interested candidates are invited to apply by emailing their Curriculum Vitae (CV), MBBS, PG, Medical Council certificate, Aadhar Card, along with a covering letter to desaieyehospital@hvdeh.org.
• Review: The applications undergo a thorough review process by the admissions team to assess eligibility and suitability for the chosen program.
• Slot Allotment: The training slots are booked on a first come first serve basis.
• Enrolment: The applicant is expected to make Advance payment for confirmation of the slot. If the payment is due and another applicant makes the payment in advance, the slot will be allotted to that applicant and your slot will automatically get cancelled.

Training Fees:
The training fees for each program are outlined below, exclusive of accommodation charges: In addition to the course gees 18% GST is applicable.
